In many of the schools and classrooms where we teach, you will be asked to assist teachers with existing curricula. However, the emphasis of your teaching will consist of assisting students with pronunciation, vocabulary and especially conversation skills. This manual provides guidance including very useful participatory exercises and games that will encourage participation by students.

The Khmer language video clips are a selection of some of the most useful daily life words. These words are found in the Khmer Language Basics section in the OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION section of your Participant Handbook. As you view the video clips we recommend that you also follow along in the handbook.
