Testimonials
"I'm sure when I ponder my life experiences, during the twilight of my years, I will regard my six weeks in Thailand as six of the most sensational weeks of my life... I traveled to Thailand hoping for an enriching experience. What I found exceeded my wildest expectations."
Chris Cox, International Health Program, Thailand
HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU HAVE TO VOLUNTEER?
No matter what your time constraints, there is a Global Service Corps program for you. If you have limited time or have never traveled to a developing country and just want to ‘get your feet wet,’ a two-week Introduction to Service-Learning Program would be ideal. Travel to Tanzania and spread the message of HIV/AIDS prevention to at-risk groups or learn more about sustainable agriculture and food security; or, provide support at a Cambodian orphanage that is home to HIV+ orphans or other youth orphaned through the loss of parents to AIDS.

If you have more time to devote to a service-learning program, you can participate in one of GSC's three to eight week short-term service-learning programs in the fields of sustainable agriculture, HIV/AIDS education, or international public health.

For those looking for a more in-depth service-learning experience in Cambodia or Tanzania, GSC offers 9-week to six-month long-term and internship programs in all areas that GSC operates. These longer programs are made especially attractive with reduced fees after the first three months. Contact the GSC main office for more details and find the program that will best suit your interests and availability
