Testimonials
"I'm sure when I ponder my life experiences, during the twilight of my years, I will regard my six weeks in Thailand as six of the most sensational weeks of my life... I traveled to Thailand hoping for an enriching experience. What I found exceeded my wildest expectations."
Chris Cox, International Health Program, Thailand
FOR FAMILIES SEEKING VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCES ABROAD
With Global Service Corps, entire families can share a service-learning volunteer adventure abroad together. GSC has in-depth experience assisting families who wish to embark on a life changing journey in both Thailand and Tanzania.

In Thailand, parents may bring their children on the service-learning Teach English Abroad Program and pay a discounted fee for those age 17 and under. Children accompany adults on their projects and participate in the classroom, in sports and in other extra-curricular activities. The program fee for children age 15 and under is 50% of the regular adult program fee; for children ages 16-17 the program fee is 75% of the regular adult program fee. Due to the reduced cost of GSC Volunteer Vacations, children pay the same program fee as adults.

In Tanzania, children must be at least 16 years of age to participate in the program with a parent. The program cost for children ages 16-17 is 75% of the regular adult program fee. Children can participate with their parent(s) on either the HIV/AIDS Prevention & Education or the Sustainable Agriculture & Food Safety Program and are required to accompany their parents during all program activities.

Participants are responsible for their child's airfare, travel insurance, and visa expenses. Please contact the GSC office for more details and program options for families.
